None. There is no account, no sign-up and no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or any other identifier, and there is no server for us to collect anything to. The traveller name and avatar you can optionally set are labels for your own screen only — they stay on your device and are never transmitted.
To make the app work, PackReadyChecklist stores the following only on your device, using the operating system's local storage:
This data never leaves your device. It is not uploaded to PackReadyChecklist or to any third party. Uninstalling the app or clearing its storage deletes all of it permanently.
PackReadyChecklist requests no runtime permissions — no camera, microphone, location, contacts, photo library or storage access — and no permission prompt is ever shown to you. For full transparency: the Android manifest still declares the basic INTERNET permission, which is a leftover from the project template. The app contains no networking code of any kind, so this permission is never exercised; it grants no ability to read anything on your device, and we intend to drop it in a future update. On iOS the app declares no usage descriptions at all.
PackReadyChecklist makes no network connections. There is no HTTP client, no web view and no socket code anywhere in the app, and every packing template is compiled into the app itself, so there is nothing to download. It works identically in aeroplane mode, abroad with no roaming, or on a phone with no SIM. The single exception is entirely under your control: if you share a packing list, the app hands the plain text to your device's system share sheet, and whichever app you then choose handles it under its own privacy policy. Nothing is shared unless you tap share and pick a destination.
No analytics, advertising, attribution, crash-reporting or in-app-purchase SDK is integrated — there is no Firebase, no Google Analytics, no AdMob, no Crashlytics and no billing library anywhere in the app. The only third-party components bundled are open-source Flutter packages that run entirely on-device and contact no servers of their own: hive and shared_preferences (local storage), flutter_bloc and equatable (state management), fl_chart (the stats charts), intl (date formatting), flutter_animate, gap and collection (layout and helpers), and share_plus (the system share sheet described above).
PackReadyChecklist is suitable for all ages and is not specifically directed at children under 13. Because the app collects nothing, transmits nothing and contains no ads, no social features and no external links, it cannot knowingly or unknowingly collect personal information from a child. There is accordingly nothing for a parent or guardian to request the deletion of beyond uninstalling the app, and no COPPA or GDPR-K verifiable-parental-consent obligation arises.
Because everything stays on your device, you already have full control and do not need to ask us for anything. You can edit or delete any trip, item, note or profile detail from inside the app at any time. To erase everything at once, clear the app's storage from your device settings or uninstall PackReadyChecklist — either removes the local database and all saved preferences permanently and irreversibly. We hold no copy of your data, so there is nothing on our side to access, export, correct or delete.
If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will be revised. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
